N792HT — live tracking every few seconds while it is in the air, and who this aircraft is the rest of the time.
Sibling HTS S-64 Skycrane to N795HT and N793HT, sharing the same CAL FIRE contract pool. HTS rotates the three airframes across helitack bases during fire season, so any of the three can show up on a given wildfire incident depending on staging and maintenance cycles.
We have recorded CAL FIRE Skycrane over 23 neighborhoods in Kern, Los Angeles and Ventura counties, 46 passes in all — most recently over San Dimas on 16 October.
Counted from this site's own observations of the public ADS-B feed, not from a flight plan — a pass is a visit we watched, and the list is what we have seen, not everywhere this aircraft has been.
