N476DF — live tracking every few seconds while it is in the air, and who this aircraft is the rest of the time.
CAL FIRE Firehawk operating across Southern California's state-responsibility-area wildlands. Leased from Air Methods, painted in CAL FIRE's red-and-white livery, with 1,000-gallon water tank and night-vision goggle (NVG) capability for after-dark fire ops.
We have recorded CAL FIRE Copter over 55 neighborhoods across Southern California, 276 passes in all — most recently over Oildale on 15 September.
Counted from this site's own observations of the public ADS-B feed, not from a flight plan — a pass is a visit we watched, and the list is what we have seen, not everywhere this aircraft has been.
