N683HB — live tracking every few seconds while it is in the air, and who this aircraft is the rest of the time.
Huntington Beach PD's MD500 — a single-pilot light police helicopter operating along the OC coastal cities. The MD500 silhouette is distinct from the AStar-dominant LA fleet; you'll spot it by its smaller cabin and notar tail.
We have recorded Huntington Beach PD Air Support over 57 neighborhoods across Southern California, 582 passes in all — most recently over Fountain Valley on 16 October.
Counted from this site's own observations of the public ADS-B feed, not from a flight plan — a pass is a visit we watched, and the list is what we have seen, not everywhere this aircraft has been.
