N29LB — live tracking every few seconds while it is in the air, and who this aircraft is the rest of the time.
Long Beach Police Department's air-support helicopter, covering the City of Long Beach (Port of LA jurisdiction plus the residential neighborhoods of LB) and providing mutual aid to LASD and LAPD across the south-bay corridor.
We have recorded Long Beach PD Air Support over 22 neighborhoods in Los Angeles and Orange counties, 1253 passes in all — most recently over Signal Hill on 7 October.
Counted from this site's own observations of the public ADS-B feed, not from a flight plan — a pass is a visit we watched, and the list is what we have seen, not everywhere this aircraft has been.
