N93DD — live tracking every few seconds while it is in the air, and who this aircraft is the rest of the time.
N93DD is the second Bell 407 in the Helicopters Inc. pool that flies as SkyFOX 11 for KTTV Fox 11 and as SkyCAL for KCAL 9. It wears the same paint as N50Q and fills in when N50Q is down for maintenance.
We have recorded SkyFOX 11 / SkyCAL over 186 neighborhoods in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties, 1019 passes in all — most recently over Lake Balboa on 17 October.
Counted from this site's own observations of the public ADS-B feed, not from a flight plan — a pass is a visit we watched, and the list is what we have seen, not everywhere this aircraft has been.
Our record ties SkyFOX 11 / SkyCAL to 9 scenes, the 8 most recent below.
This record starts on 10 August and only includes scenes GTLA opened a page for — most of them opened automatically, when our tracking saw helicopters gather over one spot or follow a chase — so it is not a complete history of where this aircraft has flown.

The portrait of SkyFOX 11 / SkyCAL is an AI-generated fleet illustration, made from photographs of the real aircraft; markings follow the photographed livery. KTTV 11 / KCAL 9 is not affiliated with GTLA.
